Bidston Observatory Artistic Research Centre

This is the second in a series of three compassion focused workshops looking to support participants in their self-empowerment and personal growth whist building community.

BASIC INFO

This 4-day workshop centres the Heart - understanding this place as a locator for self-energy, as a bridge to Spirit, and entry into the inter-dynamic field of relation. During our time together we will look to stabilise and energise this centre, so that we might engage in a deeper level of collective healing practice - one that works beyond the rational limitations of human understanding, while investigating the very essence of what it means to be human.

Working with the heart is all about discernment. Coming into ourselves at a deeper level so we can see what is true for us and access the knowing within ourselves. Sustaining this level of consciousness requires continuous active enquiry and full participation. Therefore, the priority of this workshop is to create the conditions where this becomes possible and to share tools that support the re-establishment of trust in self-knowing.

In service of this path, amongst other practices and tools, we will be engaging in Spiritual and Systemic Constellations and Embodied Embryology through Body Mind Centring®.

While Constellations situates us as witness within the emergent fields of culture and family that gave us life, BMC® allows for a fluid, cellular based awareness, that somatically unveils the dynamic forces that shaped our physical form and its subsequent behaviours. To engage with our selves across these scales is to meet the profundity of our nature, to move beyond the known, but through the certainty of experience.

THEMATICS AND TOOLS

This offering is not linked to any singular tradition or spiritual framework. Heavily indebted to my root teacher Ron Young whose practice sits in the intersection of many wisdom linages, the call is to come in the fullness of your own histories of faith and systems of belief.

Whilst we will be teaching in flow and response to the needs that are present, thematics may include

Fascia and embryological development
Vibrational intelligence and Fluid sensing
Expansion and contraction in the energetic and mind fields
Self-healing practice as developed by Ron Young
Thinking beyond Attachment Theory
The nature of entanglement and inter-being
The difference between compassion and empathy in relationship
Ancestral healing and understanding the inter-dynamic family field
The orders of love from Burt Hellinger’s Constellation teaching
Working with elementals - from the teachings of Daskalos
Mother and Father movements Maria Sophie Hellinger.
We will be continuing the practice of Tension Stress and Trauma Release Exercises® (TRE®), no prior experience is require.
