A 'working week' at Bidston Observatory with activities and interactions for stayers throughout, grounded in broadcast media and sonic theory. This will include discussions, screenings, workshops and live broadcasts - organised by and for stayers under the rough & ready technical glitch that is otherwise known as DOMES FM.
Your stay will be catered, and Bidston Observatory provides bedrooms and linen. Day users are welcome. This is a communal study site, with stayers encouraged to look after the space and to embrace collaboration. The space values collective resourcing, experimentation and being accountable for yourself.
Per night (self-assigned scale): £20 / £30 / £40
Daily food contribution: £12
Please note, there is a minimum two night stay, though day users are welcome. As an example, four nights with food contributions (12 meals) would cost:
Subsidised: £128
Standard: £168
Funded: £208
Day Rate with a meal: £15
Please email if you'd like to be involved in feeding into some activities for the week.
